It's a flower, see? – IkeRosalina

The blonde looked over his shoulder, furrowing her light eyebrows as she stared at the strange colluded object he was holding and twirling in his fingers. Her lips pursed together, and she sat down behind him- stretching her neck to see what kind of item he was carelessly playing with.

"What are you doing?" She muttered into his ear. Of course she had not missed the obvious one inch jump as he was understandingly shocked, she just chose to ignore it. His fingers released the delicate pink plant -she guessed- and it slowly fell to the floor. Her eyes glanced at the plant before looking back to the blue haired mercenary.
''N-nothing," he managed out. How strange it was for him to stutter- though she guessed that he was recovering from the previous shock she had unintentionally given him. She shrugged and crawled over to the plant, picking it up and furrowed her brows again at the strange texture when she touched the petals. They were soft, but there felt like there were strange patterns on it- they felt like dots.

"Ike?" He stopped fiddling with his sword's hilt and looked up at her. Blue eyes clashed- a perplexed and puppy eye met with curious yet bored eyes. "Why does this plant have such strange engravings on it?"

The mercenary looked at her with confused eyes. Did she think that it was real? He never questioned it and answered, "Peach made these from pink tissue paper. She only made two, and gave the other to Marth. Does that satisfy you, Mistress Rosalina?"

She nodded her head, but her lips tugged slightly down at the title that he gave. When they had first met, he had already called her 'Mistress' for some reason. She had told her countless times not to call her that, but he never seems to remember. She gave up a long time ago. Though, she guessed she like the title a little. It made her important in his life.

But the tone there. Something was off- like he was being sarcastic and was actually annoyed. No, it's was probably nothing as she brushed off the tone. Her nimble fingers continued twirling the tissue paper flower, eyes darting over to look at Ike once in a while. And every time, his eyes would be looking at the dark night sky, lost in his own land of thoughts probably.

The goddess sighed, stopping her fingers and not wanting to play with the tissue paper flower anymore. The mood that the two of them bought over the atmosphere was too suffocating for her- him just sitting and lost in his own thoughts while she quietly played with the paper flower. Slowly, she let her fingers release the flower and stood up. She dusted the dirt from her dress and looked at Ike, whom was still lost in his own thoughts.

A bitter smile came over her lips as she picked up the flower again- though, this time, not to fiddle with it. She walked over to Ike quietly, so not to break him out of his thoughts, and placed the flower behind his ear. He looked at her in surprise and frowned when she walked away without even a word. Yet, he couldn't help the small grin that was slowly crawling up.

And she couldn't help the bitter hot tears that were streaming down her face while she walked.

A/N: Another IkeRosalina fic from me! Rosalina's section still isn't very filled, so I decided to add another story just to encourage anybody who wants to write. Don't worry, it's fine~ My first story had terrible comments and I deleted it, and then never touched that account again- I don't even remember what the name was to be honest. But all you have to do is practice. Read more, jot down interesting vocabulary that you might want to use and practice! I personally never follow any of my advice but whatever~ See you in my next story!
