I never knew what death was like until I met Jacob. Though it is a cold experience...He always knew how to warm my soul.

Forks was a nice enough place if you like rain and greenery. Though I was more for the sunlit mornings of Phoenix. But as always I made the choice to move in with my father whom was the police Chief of this small town. As I sat beside him in his cruse we made our way towards his house. The small place had two floors. Two bed rooms a living room and Kitchen. The bathroom lay between my room and his own.
The Cruiser made a slight squeaking noise as we were parked off to the side of the house. A large truck sat nearby as I looked at him with curiosity. A sly grin tugged at his lips as he turned the cruiser off. I opened the door and stood up and expected it started to drizzle. I waited for my father to come out of the car so I could ask him about the truck.
"What is that?", I asked shyly as I looked at the red colored truck.
"Your home coming gift Bells..", He smiled at me as he stepped closer to the Truck. Patting the steel he turned to me. "I'd thought you would like it seeing how you need a way to school."
To my own Surprise I loved the truck. I walked closer and peered into the passenger window. Leaver seating and new radio already installed. I looked up at my dad and hugged him tight.
"Thanks dad!"
"No problem kiddo.", He spoke with a slight flush on his cheeks as he hurried me along to the house just in time as he poured. I looked around at the place and sighed.
"Well your bedroom is upstairs to the right."
"Thanks dad.."
I walked up the stairs and shook my head. At least for the both of our sakes he never hovered. As I took the turned to my room and shuddered. One Bathroom. Opening the door I saw my room tidy an familiar. I used to come here every summer. Now it was a distant past reminder. I moved to my bed and plopped down with a huff and curled up. I looked out at the window at the grey skies. Rain battered the windows and roof as I rolled my eyes. I had to get used to that noise sooner or later. Rollin over I looked at the clock and its Neon light reading just after nine. I had my first day of school tomorrow and it was a Friday. Groaning I made my way to the Bathroom and took my shower. I stood under the running water and started to dread the idea of living here even more. Turning to the towel on the wall I turned the water off and soon made my way to my room again. Slipping into my pajamas I went down stairs to find my father sleeping on the chair.
"Well...someone had a long day.", I spoke softly to myself and grabbed a coke. Making a mental note to go shopping I made my way back to my room and closed the door quietly.
I looked at the night sky and thought about the warmth of the sun. The feeling of sand between my toes only to be welcoming sleep soon.
