My name is Mikan Sakura and I will tell you my story
When I was young I found the love of my life he was handsome and served to the marine I was just a woman that fell in love with him so I tell him I love him and he love me too.
We used to hang around and he always tell me he love me he did know how much he mean to me.
One day he come to me and proposed to marry him I was overjoyed and we marry.
We bought a house and restored it we plant roses trees everything was just plain perfect.
We didn't go to a honeymoon but we had it in our house we used to dance but one day in the radio the marine said that United States was going to fight against Japan and the Soviet Union. That day I told him if he was going to go and fight he told me he will go to protect his home. I was very upset but I convince myself that if he had the courage to go and fight I will had the courage to stay alive to wait for him.
In the morning of the next day he was gone I always send him letter just to know how was he I told him that I was pregnant and he told me he will come back to see our baby. But that day never come and the officer give me a telegram that said that he was lost in action at that day I cried my heart out but I had to be strong for my baby so I repeated lost is not dead.
Many years passed and my baby grow up it was just us two.
I become older and my son was already married and I had a grandchild.
One day a woman help me to find my husband and when she find where he was the marine carried his body to me, I cried but I was there waiting till the only love of my life was there with me until they came.
