Hey guys! This is an Alternate ending for the movie of The Phantom of The Opera. (or in other words, how I wanted it to end.). I'm just a kid, so I'm sorry if you don't find it that good. As much as possible, please don't give me any rude reviews. Or, if you want me to improve on something, just tell me in a nice way. I hope you like it! (Who knows, it might become a story! MIGHT).
As Christine gave back the ring, she was regretting every single step while walking away from The Phantom to the boat to leave with Raoul. "I do love, him, I really do. He's my angel of music. But, what about Raoul?". Christine thought to herself as Raoul helped her get on to the gondola. She looked at the Phantom one last time, knowing that she'll never see him again. It broke her heart so much to see him all alone again, just because of that one decision she made – to leave him. The gondola was still parked in front of the lair, and Raoul was getting the oars and other things. Raoul said "Christine!" and he kissed her. Christine started sobbing, she saw The Phantom looking at her while Raoul kissed her and he started crying even more. It hurt her so much the see her Angel of Music broken hearted. "Christine, I know you're scared of him. We can leave now. He won't be bothering you anymore, I promise." Raoul said, as he held Christine's hands.
Just as they were going to sail away Christine couldn't take it. "Raoul! I can't do this. I love you, but, the The Phantom needs me. I love him too. Raoul…" She placed her hand on his cheek. "I'm so sorry. But I want to save him from his loneliness. I wouldn't survive thinking that I just left him with no proper goodbyes. I'll regret the choice of leaving you too, but, the Phantom needs me more." And she gives Raoul a goodbye kiss. "Live your life to the fullest. Forget about what I'm doing now, but I hope you'll always remember that I'll always love you, and that will never change. Maybe I'll try to see you once in a while." And Christine hugs Raoul. As Christine is about to go back to the Phantom, she hears Raoul sing "Christine, I love you." And he says "You're a good woman, Christine. You'll be a hero for the Phantom.". Christine smiles at him, and goes back to the Lair. Raoul sails away, accepting the fact that Christine left him just to save someone.
The Phantom was looking at all of his drawings of Christine, holding them close to him like how a kid would hug a teddy bear. He was still crying. He went to his organ, and he started playing the saddest melodies Christine heard. He started playing Angel Of Music, and he started crying more. He stopped playing his organ, and he rested his head on the keys. "Oh, Christine." He said.
Christine finally entered his lair once again, and found the ring on the ground. She picked it up and approached the Phantom. As she was approaching him, she was wearing the ring and she started singing "Angel of music, I denied you, turning from true beauty.". The Phantom looked at her in disbelief, and said "Christine?". Christine ran to him and hugged him. "I wanted to save you from your loneliness.". "You alone, can make my song take flight." The Phantom sang to her. Finally, The Phantom wasn't lonely anymore.
