A/N this is my first fanfiction so please don't be too harsh on critiques. Lol. This is a spinoff of Shiro (my?) point of view. Anyway, this is meant to be a non-profit fanfic with no copyright intended. For you, Motor. ^_^ Thoughts are in italics.

~Shiro's Journal~

I had been sitting in the same tree for the past day or so.

How long would he take to get here?!

Finally, I heard some rustling nearby. Quickly jumping down from the tree, I rushed to a nearby set of bushes.

Yes! He finally arrived!

My eyes were already adjusted to the darkness, so I could see quite clearly. As he came closer, I jumped out and grabbed him. I grabbed him, and then he immediately started to scream.

"Quickly, we must hurry! Follow me!" I exclaimed.

He began to say something back, but I cut him off when I yanked on his arm and started to run. We sprinted (or more like me dragging him) towards a nearby clearing. When we came to a stop, he dizzily kept heading towards a tree and walked right into it. I heard a noise from behind, and stood in a bit of shock. There was a skeleton right there. Before I could do anything, he charged towards it, swinging a sword.

Ah, yes, this is the hero I've been searching for… We've been searching for… For so long. How many years we've waited for him to come back…

I watched as him and the skeleton fought back and forth, him finally slicing the skeleton's spine in half. He started to regain his balance, looking slightly confused – that was when I saw it. It walked toward him, slowly expanding, about to explode when I finally reached him and tackled him to the ground.

We cannot stay here any longer. Geez, nowhere is safe these days! A girl can't even catch her breath.

He was still a bit disturbed from the impact when I grabbed him and started the sprint/drag body pace from earlier again. He started to ask me questions, but I brushed them off with a vague answer. It was silent as we ran back to the cabin.
