Prologue: The masks we live by
Today was a special day. Today was the day of the final graduation exam of the Academy in the village hidden in leaves. Today was a day when children would celebrate with their parents for becoming registered ninja of the village. Today was a day of happiness for all of those who would graduate. However, today was not the day to celebrate graduation for two young people. The people have failed the graduation exam and what have to wait another year in the Academy before taking the exam again. Or that is what they were told.
These young kids names were Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuuga.
Naruto was a loud, annoying, rash, confident prankster who would yell to the world his dream of becoming hokage.
Hinata was a shy and quiet young lady who would never ever dream of hurting anything. She was constantly blushing and hiding her cute face inside the heavy coat she wore everywhere, regardless of temperature. She was also the heiress to the biggest and most well renowned clan in Konoha, the Hyuuga.
People who saw these two sitting outside the academy together by the lone tree swing couldn't help but pity them. Or at least the pitied Hinata, there was no way in hell that they would ever pitied the Demon boy who the blame for destroying the village 13 years ago. If anything, they pitied Hinata for being lumped in with the demon as a failure. The people of these two kids looking press and thought they knew everything about them.
They didn't know how wrong they were.
The truth was that these two had known each other since a faithful even when they were 5. That event changed their lives and created the masks that those two wore now. These masks encompassed everything about them, from their looks to their attitude. These masks were the reason that they failed. Their plan that bay I carefully worked on since they were five.
Today was special for these two indeed. Today was special because today was the day that those masks would fall. Today was a turning point in their young lock today was the day that they revealed themselves or how they truly were today was indeed special.
