-1This isn't about Silas Marner- but it IS inspired by Silas Marner; I'll admit it was the most boring book I have EVER read… but it has a nice theme.

Paint mixed by tears and
Etched with light strokes
Onto a ragged canvas
With fate's wizened hands.

A little misfortune set by
Stolen time and misshapen
Luck. Where this gold
Could not be bought.

A woven tale to be told
By the wise and sage-like.
On fluorescent pages,
This story is destined to glow.

An angel's baby laughs,
Tempting the winds of
Friendship and worship.
A bundle of giggling gold,

Seated against the bright fire,
Where even devils and demons die
Within the heavenly gaze
Of her almighty shining eyes.

The bond is fitfully drawn,
Threaded inside her heart
Of ever-beating joy, and
Never-ending innocence.

An angel's baby, a simple
Love's delight. Paint on
With laughter and bliss...
And tears of our happiness.

Can you paint with fate, without misshaping destiny? Color with insanity, out side the lines of reality, and everything's gonna be alright, in this pure delight.
