Evyln And Teddy sat around Megan's hospital bed, All three of them were joking and laughing as the rain fell outside of the window. suddenly Teddy remembered the date. She reached to get her phone out of her purse to check and sure enough, it was November twenty-third.

"Today's November twenty-third?" Teddy said abruptly, thinking out loud as she stared at her phone, hoping it was off by a day. her face twisted in pain and realization.

Megan and Evyln stopped laughing, looking at their friend. They could tell something was wrong.

"Yeah" Megan answered slowly, not sure to ask whar was bothering her.

Teddy got up, attempting to smile, but they could see it was a troubled smile, for it didn't reach her eyes.

"I gotta go.." She said putting on her coat and grabbing her umbrella "i'll be back in a few hours"

And with that She walked out the room.

Evyln looked out the window and could see her walking in the rain, her umbrella not even in use, waving down a taxi getting in.

"I wonder what that was about?" Megan said.

Just then Owen came into the room "Teddy, today's the Twenty-thi..." It took him a second to realize she wasnt there. "Did she leave already?" He said, concerned

"Yeah, she got pretty sad when she realised today was the twenty-third..." Evyln answered, looking at her son. expecting him to fill her in on why teddy was sad. But he didn't, he just left. And out of the window, they could see him get into his truck and drive away.

Teddy thanked the taxi driver as she got out in front of Seattle Grace Graveyards, this time deploying her umbrella. She walked through the fresh mud and found the stone she had wanted pretty quickly, for she had come here many times. The stone read:

Henry Burton and Allison Burton

Beloved daughter and husband

Dearly missed

Teddy crumpled to her knees and cried over the stone, as she thought back on what had happened on this day of last year.

Today was that horrendous day.

That day that She had woken up in her bed to red. Looking all around her, red, blood.

She had woken up sobbing, so mad at herself. Screaming at her body for doing such a thing.

For evicting her daughter from her womb.

Henry wrapped his arms around her.

Rocking her slowly as she sobbed.

His tears mingling with hers.

That horrendous day.

November twenty-third.

Suddenly she felt a warm hand on her shoulder, without even looking up She knew who it was

"Oh Owen.." She whispered through her sobs. "Oh..oh..."

he just picked her up without a word and carried her to the car.

For today was November twenty-third.
