Sayonara
The sound of a piano envelops the hospital, twisting around the two figures in a sad caress. The girl stood looking down as if memorize the movement of those strong, broken
hands. A sharp intake of breath was heard as the hands she knew so well took a brief pause.
"Ehh. I wanted to hear more." The male glanced up at his visitor, a brief flash of warmth flickered in his eyes. He could almost see her braids, the one image that pierced through his
soul and refused to leave. "Hey" The girl moved to make herself more comfortable. "You still owe me that bento you know." A slight chuckle made its way through the air. "Yea, you
haven't changed. You still eat enough for five people." "Ahh! That's the first thing you have to say to me? You know to make a woman happy you have to say what she wants to hear.
How about 'I missed you Hiyono'." The melody started again, turning into a familiar tune, so well known by the two individuals.
Outside the window, kira kira kira ri. A shooting star streaks, kira kira kira ki.
"As weird as ever, like I said it's good to know you can count on some people to never change." "Ayumu I- " "Even so. I missed you, Hiyono." The last part came out as a whisper.
Another pause made its way into the conversation, this time in understanding." The melody changed once more, into a complicated dance. With eyes closed a whisper floated delicately
above the confusion of notes. "You know I believed in you." The girl gave one last smile as the door shut softly in departure. "I know, I did too." And his farewell drew itself out selfishly,
leaving behind no trace of the final chord.
Hey there ^-^ This is my first piece in fanfic, well my first story in general. I know there are probably tons of mistakes, so please don't flame. I have no idea whether or not i'm even going to continue writing but I just thought I'd give it a shot. I tried to do Spiral justice (but probably failed ^^;;) ...I guess this just proves how much I love this manga. The ending almost made me cry, ah well enough of my babbling.
