Kagome has leaves thinking that her education is more important then Inuyasha and the gang plus the new guy Duncan has the hots for her. But how does Inuyasha handle it. And who's this girl that can't remember her name or past?
"So you know how there's that new guy Duncan every time your sick which is alot. He gets all worried" One of Kagome's friend's said happly. Kagome looked over where Duncan was sitting staring at her with a welcoming smile. "you think he likes me?" Kagome said almost blushing. "Well he doesn't smile like that at any one els so I would say yes." The five girls laughed. Duncan walked over to Kagome. "Hey Kagome, I noticed you were feeling better today and I would like to ask you out on a date if your feeling up to it of course?" "Duncan" Kagome looked at her friends "I would love to go out with you." "Great how about wednesday night 7:00 pm we could go to a movie?" "Sounds great I'll talk to you later." "Bye Kagome" he left the lunch room. "Oh, Kagome that was so sweet now maybe you can get rid of that jerk you wer having problems with." "Inuyasha can be a jerk but, sweet too" Kagome said defending Inuyasha.
"Kagome phone call" Kagome's mom called from down stairs "Yea I got it" she called her back then picked up her phone. "Hello" she sounding cheerful. "Hi, Kagome it's me Duncan I was just thinking about you and I know you missed alot of school so I was wondering if you needed any notes or help on any thing?" "No I got the notes from" "oh I'm sorry I new It was a bad idea to call" he said cutting her off. "Well, this does give me a chance to get to know you but I can only talk for a little bit ok" she said alittle nervous. "have you ever done this before" he asked her blushing on his end of the phone. "Nope I've never realy had a date before," Kagome said blushing "or phone calls I'm, I'm" she thought about it and said "sick." "you might think this is weird but for some reason even though your gone so much on the days I do see you. You bring so much light into the room and to me you out shine the sun" he said happily. She blushed again "aw thats so sweet I never hear things like that from Inuyasha he nev" "Inuyasha?" he cut her off in middle sentence. "Who is Inuyasha?" he sounded worried. "Just a friend who could have been nicer to me but he's just a friend thats all," she tried to recover but new she did a sloppy job of it. "Oh ok, well I have to go I hope you come to school tomorrow, bye." "bye." She hung up the phone "I have to talk to Inuyasha" she left her room and went to the well and jumped down into it.
She found inuyasha by his tree for some reason he has been hanging out there a lot lately. "Inuyasha," she said getting his attention. "Kagome your back did you get all your work so that you don't have to go back for awile" Inuyasha said leaning against the sacred tree. "Um, 'bout that I'm going back tomorrow and the next day I have to do something with a friend then I'll be back" Kagome said looking down. "Wait, what am I going to do just sit here wait for you to get done I need you too Kagome," he said standing up strait. "Well, you can stand by this stupid tree thinking about your past," Kagome said tring to convince herself that she had to leave. "Inuyasha I will be back I will it's just something I have to do Duncan I made a promise to him that I would be there so I'm sorry Inuyasha," she turned away from him. "Your not even spending the night here this is like you and that Koga run to home and Duncan." he sounded sad "Go home then I..." he sounded angry and hurt at the same time. "I'm sorry I'll be here when you get back" he disapered into the night. She left to study her books then go to school on her date she would come back. To be contuned...
