Thanks!

Disclaimer: Im not Stephanie Meyer. I dont own Twilight nor any of its characters. Only person I own so far is Calla.

The hard forest floor met punishingly with the soles of Calla's bare feet as she sprinted through the thick growth of trees. She was approximately 5 minutes from her destination; the castle in the heart of Volterra. Mangled branches stick out at awkward angles whipping her cheeks as she passes. Her previous scratches had all but disappeared as new ones took their place. This vicious cycle continues as she comes to the edge of the forest, body on high alert listening for her lone pursuer.

"Not today, wolf. " She says barely audible as she turns quickly eyes locking on the giant wolf behind her causing it to become immobile; unable to move or speak. She silently cheers to herself as she locks eyes with the russet animal.

"Check and mate, Jacob." She teases, releasing the hold on the wolf. He growls lowly before disappearing behind the thicket of trees, reappearing as a half-dressed man.

"Well done Princess. That was much quicker than your average time." He commends, examining her nearly disappeared cuts. "Looks like your healing time has improved as well. Might be finally leaning towards the vampire side."

"I think my training is finally paying off." She smiles tugging her shoes back on. "Do you have the time? I need to shower before supper."

"You have about an hour. Shall we return to your room?" Jacob asks tucking his earpiece back in place and speaking lowly into it. "The dove is in flight to the nest. ETA two minutes." He turns back to Calla. "After you Princess." They walk I silence up the stairs and into the castle, down several corridors, and up another set of stairs. Jacob steps inside her room first checking it thoroughly before allowing her entrance. "Ill be waiting here for you." He says closing the door. Calla sighs as she shrugs off her training clothes heading for the shower. Supper was coming in less than an hour and she would have to get through the torturous 2 hours without mishap. She sighed turning the cd player on, stepping into the shower.

"Don't let them in.

Don't let them see.

Be the good girl you always have to .

Don't feel. Don't let them know…"
