[AVAN'S POV]

She came down the aisle wearing a strapless dress, as white as snow. She had a smile on her face. One I will never forget as long as I will live. She looks beautiful every day, but today was her day to shine. She made it to me, grabbed my hand and looked me in the eyes. We weren't really listening to the priest.

"You look stunning."

She smiled at me.

"You're not too bad yourself."

Then the priest started talking to us again.

"Avan, grasp Elizabeth's hands and repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed."

Looking into her eyes, I could see tears forming but I did as the priest said.

"With this ring, I thee wed."

And with that, I slipped the silver band onto her left ring finger and rubbed my fingers across her knuckles.

"Elizabeth, repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed."

I could tell she was about to cry. I could feel it. And that's just what she did.

"With this ring."

She let tears fall and couldn't talk. So, being the gentleman I am, I wiped away her tears and she found the strength to speak again.

"With this ring, I thee wed."

And she took a deep breath.

"We will begin the vows now. Avan, you start."

I took a deep breath because I knew I was going to need it.

"Where to start… Liz, you're my best friend, my soul mate. We'll be together forever. I would've never had this chance if I didn't follow my heart. My heart led me to you. You're the best thing I could ever ask for and I love you so much. You're beautiful every day, even if you don't feel it. You will always be the most beautiful woman in my eyes. I'm so glad I get to spend the rest of my life with you."

My eyes were watering. I didn't cry. Not like Liz; no, not at all. She was bawling, silently. I knew it was going to take her a while to redeem herself. So I gave her a look that said 'Take your time'.

"Elizabeth, whenever you're ready."

She looked at me, her eyes red and puffy. I knew she wasn't going to be able to make it through all the way. I just stared into her eyes, telling her it's okay.

"Avan. You and I are meant for each other and I'm so grateful that you're mine forever…"

She had to break because it was getting hard for her to speak. I leaned in and kissed her forehead.

"… Dan Schneider brought us together in a way. I was nervous on who I would have to kiss that first day, and when I saw it was you…"

She can do it. I was tearing up at the sight of her crying about when we first met.

"… I got butterflies. I remember that day as if it happened yesterday. Moral to the story, you're mine forever and no one can take that away."

I smiled at her and wiped away the tears that had fallen on her cheeks.

"Avan, you may kiss your bride."

FINALLY! I smiled at her, leaned in and kissed her passionately. It was the best moment of my life.
