Not Forgotten but Remembered

"I'm sorry I forgot you Doctor." Amy mumbled more to her self than to any one else.

The Doctor spun around on his feet away from whatever doohickey that was occupying his time to face Amy who was sitting down on the stairs leading up to the upper part of the TARDIS. The Doctor looked at Amy for a few seconds and then with out hesitation walked over to where she was sitting. He grabbed her hands and squatted down so that he was at her level.

He spoke softly, "Amy it wasn't you fault."

"But doctor." A single tear ran down her cheek. I forgot all the amazing things we did together. How could I forget all that? And Rory too he didn't remember either. If River Song had not have given me her journal you wouldn't be here right now."

"Oh Amy…"

"What?"

"You remembered! River Song is a brilliant woman she knew that you were the key to bringing me back. You see, with the crack in your wall was poring time energy into you head, which means that only you had the power to bring me back, and let me tell you did a fantastic job."

"It's over now, right? All the cracks have been shut? No more time energy and and people being erased from existence?"

The doctor stood up and looked down at his feet.

"I don't know. But I can only hope that the cracks are gone for good."

Amy stood up and embraced the doctor in a hug.

"Guess what, doctor?"

"What?"

"Gotcha."
