It was a quiet day in the Matsuno household. Karamatsu laid quietly on the floor, slowly brushing his nails with a blue, sparkly liquid. No one was talking, no one was moving. Everything was content. "Is shittymatsu painting his nails? Only girls do that." Ichimatsu mocked. Karamatsu opened his mouth to say something but, only hot air came out. He would never talk back to his brothers. "No not only girls, girls and gays!" Todomatsu snickered. "Hey, that's an exception, he is a gay!" Ichimatsu responded with a dark snicker. Karamatsu looked like he was going to start bawling but, before he could, Ichimatsu kicked his rib while walking out of the room causing Karamatsu to mess up on his nails. He took a good look at the splotch of nail polish running down his hand, shivering with anger and frustration. He took a deep breath and slowly walked out of the room, clutching the bottle of nail polish. When he got outside, he threw the bottle on the ground with full force. Tears flooded through his sunglasses as he stormed away from the blue, sparkly mess
He went wandering the small town with his fists jabbed in his jeans. Like usual, he ended up at Chibita's oden stand. The smaller man leaned on Karamatsu's shoulder, gently holding his hand trying not to mess up the nail polish. "T-they hate me. I know they do!" Karamatsu sobbed. "Who cares! I'll love you for all five of those idjits!" Chibita snapped looking at his destressed lover. He lifted Karamatsu's hand to get a better look at the nail polish. Besides the smudge, it was painted on beautifully. It curved on all the right edges. "Your brothers are wrong! I think it looks great on girls and boys but, beautiful on you. Chibita's cheesy pick-up line made Karamatsu smile. "Thank you for being my Karamatsu Boy, Chibita" Karamatsu reached in to hug Chibita and kiss his head gently.
"Hey Karamatsu, where did you buy this nail polish?" Chibita asked with a smile. Karamatsu looked skeptical. "Oh just at that small makeup store by Totoko-chan's house." Karamatsu said, wiping his pink, puffy eyes. "The hell, you idjit, damn it! We're gonna' go there and buy 2 bottles of that nail polish you idjit!" Chibita smiled at his sad boyfriend. "But Chibita, what about the oden shop?" Karamatsu asked, concerning his love for oden. "Forgot about that! Sunday nights are always slow so, I can close up early." Karamatsu barley had a chance to thank him before he took his hand and darted to the small store.
The two spent hours in the store. Chibita was emptying his wallet out of pity for Karamatsu. They came out with two huge bags of clothes and nail polish. "Chibita, we didn't need to buy all this stuff! I would have been fine with just a bottle of nail polish." Karamatsu murmured with a huge bag in his face. "Keh, It's not that we needed to, it's that we wanted to!" Chibita stated as they walked out of the store into the cold night. "How about we head to my house and finish your nails ,you idjit!" Karamatsu could see his bright smile under the bag covering half of his body.
The two soon walked into Chibita's small, small house. Chibita moved into the neighborhood with little money and no parents to support him. He managed to build a small shack to support him after he spent most of his money on the oden cart. He managed to get electricity, a working bathroom, and an overall refreshing house. He even had a small TV by his bed! The two sat by the bed as Chibita gently gave Karamatsu his well, deserved manicure. "How does it look?" Asked Karamatsu, smiling at the smaller man. "Hmm, Painful."
