A/N Okay so this is the Revised version of this story. Grammatical errors, edits and re-writes will be happening with all the current chapters, and possibly a couple new ones added in between to help further the character development, plot and continuity. Any OCs' (Original Characters) that were introduced are going to be gotten rid of as well due to keeping this story strictly between the characters of both worlds.

With that being said, please enjoy the new and improved 'Phantom Dawn'.

I do not own Danny Phantom or Twilight.

Amity Park, Illinois.

Our story beings with our young vigilante Danny Phantom as he flew through the city of Amity Park, looking down at the streets and the buildings one last time. The street lights flickering to life as dusk began to set in over the town. On a hill outside the city, the Ghost landed for a brief moment to look back a final time at the house that he once lived. As he gazed at it, the eyes of the boy fell to his feet in sadness. After straightening his head, the Phantom took to the sky to get as far away as possible. Where he was to end up was a mystery even to him. Hopefully somewhere small, quiet, and peaceful. Heading west as far as his body could take him, feeling as though months had probably passed the sky above became dark, becoming littered with stars. It was so beautiful… nothing but the wind going through his hair as he flew at top speed, before slowing down to look at his surroundings. The young ghost was becoming so tired that he didn't know how much longer his ghostly form could last. Looking down, he saw a forest below him. Nothing but trees for what had looked like miles. The air never smelled better. Almost as if there was absolutely no pollution here.

Landing on the ground, his eyes scanned around for someplace that would be comfortable enough for the night and sleep. A large tree that stood about sixty feet tall, that may have to do it. Not like he had much of choice on the matter at the moment. Placing the backpack he brought against the tree, Danny laid against it, closing his eyes hoping to fall asleep soon. Well, Soon wasn't fast enough as the sound of sticks and leaves crunching started. As if something was out there… watching. Shooting straight up to look around for where it was coming from, he heard something. A growl it seemed. Glancing to the right, his eyes met a large wolf looking in his direction, slowly walking towards the tree he settled at.

This wasn't a standard wolf you'd see on Discovery, or Animal Planet. This one was much. MUCH bigger! It had dark brown fur and its fangs were showing. Either taking the boy as a threat, or dinner. Not that one of those thoughts were better than the other. This thing looked like it was ready to rip him apart. Slowly, Danny stood up, with his hands in front of his body trying to reason with the beast, hoping it would understand that he wasn't a threat to it. The wolf growled louder before lunging at the half ghost. Quickly snagging the backpack, Danny dodged out of the way of its teeth.

'Whoa!', It looked at him again, angrier than before. It started to run at him again, so, doing the only thing the ghost knew he could do, he ran. Without hesitation, Danny jumped into the air and started to fly away from it staying within the tree lines while gaining altitude. His mind had hoped he could confuse it. Finding a sturdy tree along the flight, He sat near the top of it, turning invisible. Not moving an inch to give away his spot. The wolf came near, sniffing and looking around growling knowing that he was still nearby. After about twenty seconds of it sniffing around it turned around and left. 'Hopefully it thinks I'm long gone...' He thought to himself.

Letting his invisibility fade, he found himself to feel three times more exhausted than before. Using his powers really drained his body when he was already running on fumes. However, before the young vigilante could start to hover back down, his body snapped back into its human form. Which wouldn't be bad if he hadn't been floating about twenty-five feet in the air. Now, Danny had always enjoyed free falling and all, but only when he wasn't about to be squashed into the ground. Falling about half way down the tree, Danny smacked his head against a thick branch, rendering him unconscious for the night. This isn't what he had in mind for sleep, but hey. Unconsciousness is close enough right?

Forks, Washington.

Today was a good day to have a hike around the woods and a little hunt as well. Dr. Cullen had just worked all night at the hospital and had the next week off. Figuring he had some time, it would be nice to get out of the house for a bit. Walking through the forest, the doctors eyes glanced up towards the trees when something caught his attention. Something odd. There was a scent in the air. A scent that was familiar to him. He knew it was blood but this was… different. It smelled almost as if it wasn't typical blood. It was then he heard a faint heartbeat; 'A runners heart? No, it's slower.' He thought to himself. Walking towards it to stumble upon someone that was hurt, but as pale skinned man got closer, the smell of the strange scented blood got stronger.

He walked about three feet over to the right and saw a young boy lying on the ground. He was unconscious and had a bad knot on his head. It looked like he had fallen out of a tree and hit it on something. There was a small amount of blood coming from the boys head where the knot was. How long this boy had been unconscious, the doctor didn't know. All that he knew was he might have a concussion and needed help quickly. Picking the boy up in his arms, Carlisle started to carry him back to the house. Not taking the chance that he might wake up while he did, the man made a quick sprint about two thirds of the way back, then slowing down to a jog. As he was carrying the young boy he noticed something else a bit odd. He was lighter then he should've been or appeared to be. He looked to be about eighteen years old but weighed about twenty pounds less than an average boy his age should weigh.

Carlisle heard a light groan coming from the body. He looked down to see his eyes peel open just barely to look up at the man. 'Don't worry. I'm going to help you...' He said to Danny. It didn't register with him since he just blacked out again in his arms. Coming in through the front door, Carlisle placed him on the couch slowly while making sure his head didn't get worse than it already was. Making a quick dash into his office, he grabbed a spare medical bag and came back out to the living room. Kneeling down over to the young man the doctor quickly cleaned some of the blood off of his head to show where his cut had been. Taking out some antiseptic, he noticed something else a bit strange. When the alcohol was about to touch to his head, the wound that was there when he was first found was gone. It was completely healed.

"This young man is becoming more and more interesting...", He thought to himself. As he was inspecting his head a little more, the family of the young looking doctor had come through the door. They came in laughing and smiling. Alice was the first to see the young man lying on the couch. She stood still as the rest of my family did. Edward, Bella, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmet, My wife Esme, and Reneasmee came in behind her. They all looked at the boy in confusion and wonder for a few seconds in silence before Carlisle turned his attention to them.

Alice was the first to speak up. 'Who is he?', she asked. Waving for them to come closer, they were a little hesitant about it at first, knowing as they saw his blood. He waved for them once again, assuring them, 'It's okay. Come closer.' Edward was the first to walk over to the young man. His nose crinkled a little as he got close to the blood, looking at me confused. 'It doesn't smell normal.' The doctor stated. 'Not only that. I can't read his mind either. It's not like with Bella. It's like a dark fog filled room.' Edward said as he looked back at Carlisle, then back to the boy. Looking back down at the young man, he started to groan and move a little. He was finally waking up. His eyes opened slowly as his hand reached for the wound that was on his head to rub it. His other hand carefully pushing himself up. To make sure he wouldn't be too frightened, Edward backed away as the others decided it was best scatter and act as if they were only three home. Esme helped placed everything he had taken from the medical bag back inside of it. Taking a step back to give him some space to breathe and collect himself. As he slowly came to Danny's eyes looked around the room a little, then at me.

As Danny started to slowly wake up a bit, his eyes looked up to see that everything was still blurry. Barely able to see a man carrying him. The man said something but the young ghost couldn't make out what it was since everything was foggy from the incident. Soon he fell unconscious again. After a little while, Danny finally came around again. Groaning a bit from the pain, his accelerated healing factor worked on anymore damage his body had taken as he had been fully regaining consciousness this time. His head felt a bit better than it did before. As Danny started to sit up a bit, his eyes started to adjust to the room. Looking around where he was at, he was astonished by what came into his view. It was beautiful wooden floors, white walls, and really comfortable furniture.

This place was really impressive. His eyes looked around to see a couple looking at him. Slightly stiffening up as the boy looked to them, he nervously smiled at them. They had golden eyes and pale skin. 'Uhh… Hi.' The young half ghost said to the couple who were besides him. Looking over to the man closest to him.

'You're finally awake. You gave us a bit of a scare there young man. Are you alright?' The doctor asked as he watched Danny. 'Yeah, I'm fine. Where am I?' asked him curiously. 'The last thing I remember was being in the forest.' The blue eyed boy said to them. 'Our home. I found you on the ground and saw you needed some help so I brought you back here. My name is Dr. Carlisle Cullen, and this is my wife Esme.' He introduced the woman with brown hair that was sitting next to him. She changed her seat next to the boy and placed her hand on his shoulder gently. 'It's nice to meet you. What's your name Sweetie?' She asked softly.

'It's Danny." he told her. She smiled, 'Welcome to our home Danny. Is there something we can get for you?" Smiling back at her kindness, he asked for a drink. 'Actually may I have a glass of water?' She smiled as she got up from the couch and walked into the kitchen. 'This is my son, Edward.' Carlisle said gesturing over to boy close to Dannys age. 'It's nice to meet you.' The young man said to Danny. Just like the man who helped him from the forest, he had pale skin and golden eyes as well. Though he didn't think much of it, passing it as a hereditary thing since Esme, who walked back into the room with a glass of water, had those features as well. 'Thank you.'

'Danny, would you mind telling us a little about yourself and why you were out there?' Looking over to him nervously, he thought about it for a second before nodding. 'Sure.' The wife was the first to ask, 'Why were you out in the woods by yourself?' He tried to think of something quick to tell her. To tell the truth of him of him flying around to avoid a monster sized wolf before falling out of a tree didn't seem like it was going sound believable without wearing a straight jacket. Maybe he could play off the wolf encounter though.'I went to take a walk and after a while I ended up getting lost. When I found a path that I could follow a wolf came out of nowhere and chased me.' A look of concern came over there faces but not enough to make him wonder if there something they weren't telling him. 'That doesn't sound like a good thing to happen in a dark forest.'

Carlisle commented with slight humor in his voice to mask the curiosity that had raised in his mind from the boys story. 'No, not really. Great cardio though.' Danny retorted in his own brand of humor to help lighten the mood. 'After a couple of minutes of that I hid in a tree and waited for it to leave. I ended up falling when I tried to get down, and that's all I remember.' He explained the family.

At this point, a heavy yawn escaped from Danny. Apparently his "sleep" wasn't very recharging. Esme took notice of my yawn and glanced over to Carlisle. They both nodded and looked at me. 'Danny, we have a guest room that you can rest in. You look worn out.' Carlisle offered him. Thinking it over for a moment, he replied 'Thanks, but I should get going. My family is probably worried.' Of course this was a lie. He was alone and new to this area and it wasn't even certain he'd stay here for long before traveling somewhere else. They already did enough for him by bringing into their home to check his wounds. He wasn't going to impose on them by occupying one of their rooms. in and took care of me.

'Are you sure? We can give you a ride back into town if you'd like?' Esme offered with slight concern. Smiling, Danny assured them it wasn't needed and he could find his way back on his own. He liked adventuring new places. As their conversation came to an end, the young vigilante stood up and extended his hand to the doctor and his family. 'Thank you for everything, I don't know how long I would've been out there if you hadn't shown up.'

'Our pleasure, but try to be careful next time you're out there.' The man said as he accepted the handshake. With a slight chuckle, Danny agreed as he made his way out of the house. As they said their goodbyes to one another, Danny was stopped half down the steps by Esmes voice. Turning around, he saw her holding something. 'You almost forgot your backpack.' She said as she handed it back to him. 'Oh! Thanks, I guess should've made sure I had that.' He replied as he slung it over his shoulder. With that, he waved to them as his venture through the forest began again. Thankfully it was short lived as there was a main road he could follow into the town. They were kind, but there was a strange feeling that he couldn't shake from the three of them. 'I wonder what they're not telling me about this place...' He thought to himself as he journeyed down the road.

After an hour or so of walking, Danny finally made it into the small town. It was early evening and the streets were buzzing with people all around. Being the weekend, it was bound to be busy everywhere. Taking the time to look around, he felt this sense of peacefulness about the town, much like his home of Amity Park. After a few minutes of sightseeing, his stomach began to rumble. He hadn't eaten for the last couple days, which would explain his lack of energy after everything that happened. Looking around the street he was on, a diner came into view. Maybe he could grab something there on the cheap since he didn't have much money. Being a superhero wasn't the best way to make a living and not having a job in a new town wasn't helping him either. Walking into the diner, he sat an empty booth that was available. A waitress walked up to the young ghost as he was looking over the menu. 'What 'ya havin' hun?' she asked in a pleasant tone. 'Uh.. Can I get the club sandwich please?' He asked as he placed the menu back into its spot by the window.

'Sure thing, anything else I can get 'ya?' She asked as she wrote his order down. Danny shook his head with a small smile telling her that was all he wanted. To pass the time, Danny gazed out the window of his seat, watching everyone go about their night with whatever plans they may have made. A voice came over the TV that caught his attention though right when the waitress came back with his food. 'Here's your sandwich hun.' She said placing the plate in front of him. 'Thank you. Hey, is there anyway we can turn up the TV?' He asked pointing to the new report popping up. The waitress nodded and turned it up for him a bit.

'In other events, Amity Parks vigilante; Danny Phantom seems to have vanished. Locals say He's usually spotted every night but hasn't been seen in three days. Has he given up protecting the people? More on this story later this evening.'

His eyes fell down to his lap as the report ended. There was going to be more of how he was a menace and that everything that happened was his fault. All he tried to do was help people, but what he got in return was hate and blame. Not from everyone though, there were a few that believed he was was doing what he could to help people. However that was a small percentage of the nation compared to his town. Most there believed him to be the hero, other places the opposite. As he finished his food after recollecting himself, he paid the bill and left the waitress a tip when he left the diner. 'Okay, now to find out this place has to offer.' Venturing through the town, he asked a couple locals if there was a lake he could visit.

They pointed him in a direction to follow that would take him to a sizable one that was great for fishing. With that information, he made his way towards it. They told him it would take about forty-five minutes by foot to get there, which didn't bother him. The moon was out and in full light as he arrived, providing him enough visibility to look around.

Making sure no one was around, he took his shirt off and placed it into the water. As it soaked, he dug through his backpack to find a bottle of soap he bought earlier that day to wash it and give himself a wash as well. Turns out, forest floor, sweat and bark didn't make for the best of scents. When he was done washing everything, he laid his clothes on rock to dry out as he got dressed in a spare set he brought. Though no one would probably notice since he brought the exact outfit. Just as he got changed, he heard the sound of thunder roaring around the sky.

'Great… just when I thought it couldn't get any worse.' He scowled as he grabbed his clothes to look for a place to spend the night out of the storm. To his luck, he found a small cave nearby the lake he could stay in for a night, as making his way back into town for a homeless shelter wasn't going to happen. Placing his backpack down for a makeshift pillow Danny laid down hoping to fall asleep without any random attacks. He needed all the rest he could get, for tomorrow was a new day for him in Forks.
