How had he ended up with the stupidest name of them all?
It was silly and kiddish. It did not inspire fear or respect or anything really.
I inspired thought of super speed.
I had been a bad idea.
Had he really been 15 when he thought it up?
Pathetic.
Just like how it was pathetic for him, an adult, to still be playing the role of sidekick.
But damn if he couldn't escape his past.
Red Arrow
Who was he kidding, it was a plea for attention. Attention Ollie had never really paid him.
Ollie, who had taken him in because he was jealous of Batman and Robin.
Green Arrow and Speedy had never had that connection or that team work or that skill.
Roy really should have chosen another name, should have picked something else out of his arsenal
As is was he was still living in Green Arrow's shadow, and he didn't even have Ollie's support these days.
