Luna was bored. This was unusual; she usually had a battle to prepare the girls for, or she could nag Serena into doing her homework, or at least pretend to do it. Perhaps she could play video games? Oh, the look on Serena's face!
The cat was bored. She blinked up at the ceiling. She could play with some mice. Then she spied a ball.
Luna pawed the ball, knocking it down the stairs. It hit the hall table then ricocheted off into the living room. Serena belted out a screech. The cat curled into a ball, her tail going back and forth happily.
"Who did it!" Serena bellowed, running out into the hall, face red with anger. Luna slunk back into the nearest room. She heard Rini and Serena get into a fight.
'My work is done.' Luna reflected joyfully, going to sleep gracefully.
