Kagome opened her eyes to see bright sunlight creep through the windows of Lady Kaede's house. She sat up and yawned. That's when all the memories of yesterday's battle through her mind. Kagome remembered the very powerful demon she and her friends fought; causing everyone to get wounded. After a few seconds of pondering, a sharp stabbing pain came from her right leg. "Ow…" Kagome took the blanket that covered her off and looked at her bandaged up leg. "Oh great. How do I explain this?" She could already see her mother and grandfather's reaction. Kagome tried to stand up but the pressure on her leg caused her to crash to the ground. InuYasha heard this loud bang (along with everyone in the village). He ran to the house and walked inside to find Kagome on the floor. Kagome looked up and said" Help I've fallen and can't get up!"-Medicare Life Alert. InuYasha gave her a weird look and instead of actually helping her up, InuYasha grabbed all of the things Kagome owned and put them in her back pack and placing it on his back. Then, he bent down and picked the injured girl up gently and started walking out of the hut. Kagome squinted her eyes because of the bright sunlight but managed to make out Sango with a large wrap of gauze on her head and a wrap of gauze around Miroku's arm. The two were sitting under a tree talking. Kagome watched them closely but then turned her attention back to the hanyou and stared at him. "What're you lookin' at?" InuYasha asked curiously. "Where are you taking me?" "Back to your time. Sango, Miroku and I have agreed to take a few days of rest we all need it." "Oh. Why are you bringing back though?" "You wanna stay here or go lay on the fluffy thing in your room?" Before Kagome had time to answer, Inuyasha jumped into the well. The two were traveling through the starry blue that surrounded them. Inuyasha then leaped out of the well and opened the shrine door carefully. Kagome's mother was watering her plants when she looked up and smiled at Kagome and Inuyasha. That smile quickly turned into a frown. "Kagome what happened?" "Uh… well you see-""Is your leg broken?" "Mama the thing is…." Instead of Kagome's mom cutting her off, Inuyasha decided to speak up. "Will you spit it out Kagome? You're not the lightest person in the world." "Put me down then." "No you can't stand and I don't want any of that 'Help I've fallen' crap. What is that anyway?" "I'll tell you later. Mama what happened was that yesterday there was a…." Kagome didn't want to say anything about the demon they fought and its strength.
