A/N So Newsweek does this. I thought about how cool it would be for the Anubis house to do this.

Not Lowering My Force Field

The first time I met Eddison Sweet, it defiantly wasn't love at first sight. He was annoying, rude, and a completely stereotypical American.

Of course, I should've learned last year that newcomers aren't all that bad. But anyways. I guess I started to like him after he got the metal band and the masked ball to start playing classical music. Then he asked me to dance by repeating my words from before.

I was completely crushed when I learned it was all for a bet. He always managed to thwart my attempts, and worse, his "thwarting" made him spend time with me.

I had never felt this way before. I didn't really let people in, and to tell him that I liked him was out of the question. Joy helped me a little bit, but I didn't really understand how to tell him. He came up to me, and he started telling me how much he liked me. He called it "lowering his force field". He said I should do the same too.

I didn't want to tell him I liked him. Who knew how many girls he'd been with? But you know what? I learned that sometimes it's worth it to take a risk. You never know how it may turn out.

Today, Patricia Williamson is now Patricia Sweet. I have two kids, a twin girl and boy. They're the sweetest things ever (no pun intended) and I have a happy home life. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

A/N I'll probably do Eddie next. Or Amber.
