Some people do not have the luck of having adventurous, heart-stopping, exciting and dangerous lives. Some individuals never get to feel life-and-death situations, grave and painful injuries, and misery and loneliness. Not to mention the boring occupations they lead, these normal men and women experience the scurry of everyday happenings without the threat of not living the next day, short of an accident or an ailment withholding them from doing so. Such was the reality for these fortunate humans; it was a fact of nature.

It was also a truth that Harry Potter wished he were a part of.

Accounting his past, it was hardly surprising he felt this way. Going through what he went through makes a person feel as though he could never get any semblance of normalcy in his life, what with an egotistical Dark Lord out for his head and deaths left and right occurring because he had not killed said Dark Lord yet. Such was the life of people who survive Killing Curses twice.

Harry truly felt that way during the second greatest War experienced by the Wizarding World. In between running for his life and saving his friends and the bloody world, he desperately wished for the respite mundane lives had to offer. Whether it was lounging in front of fires, being torn on what to wear and lazing about in boring days, Harry wanted it all.

Now that he was living the idyllic peaceful life he envisioned however, he quickly found himself already getting frustratingly tired of it.

A flash of black cloth.

A glimpse of ebony hair.

A glance of apathetic obsidian eyes.

Maybe one equally bored Severus Snape is just the dose of adventure one Harry Potter needed.

I just felt uploading something up. Might extend this drabble into a full-on fic someday.
