Look at you, John, Azazel whispers. Tied up. Helpless. Bait. You're going to give me your boys gift wrapped with a bow on top.

No, John protests silently, willing his leaden limbs to move. They won't come. They're too smart for that.

Azazel's smokey presence coils like nausea in John's gut. They'll come. They'll know it's a trap, but you're their Daddy. They'll be here.

Then what? John growls.

Then Daddy's going to tear his little soldier to shreds, and Sammy…? John stills and the demon can taste his dread. He's going to join our team and bow before Lucifer.
