'How the hell is this guy able to do these stuff?! I mean, we're the same age aren't we?! But how come I can't do what he can do?!' he thought, glancing towards his friend, who was reading a book, while he read manga.

"I know what you're thinking Naruto," said a voice

"Shut up," he said blushing, saying in his mind 'how does he do that?!'

"You're probably thinking something like 'how does he do that?!' aren't you?"

'Dead on' said Naruto's body

"Yeah, I probably got that right" he said, answering his own question

After a moment of silence, Naruto said "Look Sasuke, just tell me how you do these mind reading stuff…If you don't, I'll keep bothering you till you spill it out"

But Sasuke kept reading. He was either ignoring his friend or testing him. Or maybe just too absorbed by reading…

Naruto was really pissed about this about this, so he grabbed Sasuke's book

"Hey! What'd you do that for?!" asked Sasuke, now also angry

"You're not even listening to me! I asked you how you—"

"Shhh!" said the librarian, and left

Naruto rolled his eyes 'ugh, libraries. It's Sasuke's fault we're here…' and continued his rant in a more hushed voice "I asked you why you can read minds!"

"I can only read yours, Naruto" he replied

'Eh?' Naruto thought 'What?'

Sasuke smiled, again, knowing what was going on in his head "It's because," he rolled his eyes "'cause you're my best friend!" and rolled his eyes once more

Naruto's eyes widened, became silent, then said "I…I am?"

"Well, duh!"

He shrugged, "Okay, fine with me!"

"I'm glad to hear that"

Sasuke stood up and, surprising to both of them, Naruto stood up at the same time too! They just laughed and walked out

"So, if you can read my mind because I'm your best friend, does that mean that I could read your mind too?"

"Haha! Sorry Naruto, no. Only I can" Sasuke said, then smiled "You were just thinking something like 'Darn it', right?"

"Sigh," Naruto said, putting his arm on his best friend's shoulder "Y'know, I hate you"

"Thank you" he replied

"You're the worst, Sasuke"

"So you did think of 'darn it'! I knew it!"

"Shut up"
