Summary: Elizabeth, young and in love to a blacksmith. Her father, Governor Swann, wishing her to marry above the standards of the humble man she fell in love with. Now betrothed to a different man, a man of her father's choice. A trip, gone terribly wrong and landing on an Island, where something awful lurks in it's depths. What will come of the young lovers, will they loose eachother forever or regain their love before it's too late?

Elizabeth walked down the streets of Port Royal. It was late and she wore a common dress made of simple dark colors and a cloak over it. She tried not to rush so she didn't draw attention to herself. Looking around she sighed in relief for she had not. The thoughts of Will made her heart race for she missed him so much.

She would have married him if it were not for her father, who decided he would forbid her from marrying such a commoner. He seemed not to care anymore what she wanted but what would make the family look good. It had broke her heart when he told Will and herself that the wedding must be canceled, and for Will to move on and leave Elizabeth alone to find someone better.

She closed her eyes and could still see the painful look in his eyes. It was a few months ago and she had yet been able to see him. She sent him letters and never got any replies from him.

Her father kept his word on her needing to find someone better and had started bringing possible suitors home for her. Using excuses started not working and she had ended up doing what her father wanted for there was no other way. The security was even tighter then it had before so she could not run off.

It wasn't long until she found herself meeting a man her father had decided would be a great asset to the family. He was much older then her as well as an oldest son of a highly respected man in England. She could not believe how serious it was becoming and how her father had changed. She didn't like how he looked at her as if she was a possession one who should just be looked at. Speaking around him alone was something he hated about her.

He had a look in his eye that made her skin crawl every time she looked at him. Weeks if having to endure his visits and dinners he decided to move the relationship to a new level. He had asked her to marry him in front of her father. This didn't give her much of a chance to refuse. Her father was all smiles as he waited for her to answer him.

She had reluctantly agreed knowing it would please her father further and stop the constant lectures and whatnot.

Shaking her head out of her thoughts she slipped the ring from her hand to her pocket. She grew closer to the blacksmith getting ready to knock. Would he be happy to see her or would he turn her away. She thought as she took a breath and started to knock and waited for an answer.

Will came to the door fixing his shirt and opened looking up. "Yes…" he said and then looked at her closely. "Elizabeth what are you doing here?"

Liz looked at him her heart raced again. "Can I come in please?"
