Title: Words, Words, Words
By: Minja
Rating: PG for obsessive love
Parings: Ginny/Tom. It's complicated...
Notes: This was originally just the poem, but I felt it needed more
explanation. Enter Hermione, as the friend who is just as lost and confused
as Ginny.
Note2: C'mon you AP-ers. Where's the title from? ;-)
~
"The deep, dark blackness,
they don't know about...
It is what drives me to you.
I seek you for this feeling.
The pain...they will not admit
What they put me through.
I'm okay, they all say.
They all tell me there's no scars,
Against what I have known and how
I feel right now.
And I just know their
Words, words, words...
Are just words.
And I can't listen anymore.
So here I am,
Scars and all,
And you.
You.
I need you.
Fill me to the brim so I no longer know who I am or what I was before.
I need you with a need more powerful than love.
Need is more powerful than love, anyway.
And I already love you...
You already have me..."
~
Hermione looked up from the page in horror. She gazed over at Ginny's bed.
The girl had fallen asleep, the quill still in her hand. Hermione had
pulled the book from her arms and had been about to place it on Ginny's
bedside table, when it had fallen open.
Now she didn't know what to do.
Hermione took one last look at the page, entitled, "FOR TOM." She drew in a
deep breath, and placed the diary back into the crook of Ginny's arm.
"We didn't know what else to tell you," she whispered to no one.
