Red Fraction

People of the undead don't belong in the world of the living. The circle of life, simple yet complex, begins with life in the fickle world, death by fate, and rebirth in the afterlife. What intervenes in the very circle is the destruction of time and destiny themselves.

The Nameless Pharaoh has found life once again after death, after dying for the sake of his kingdom. Because history repeated itself, he had to be reborn, for the sake of the world and the Gods. He came to the present where the current timeline had reigned supreme and when power was much less detached than in previous eons. Humanity was not born good or evil, nothing was black and white, but it soon came clear to him that such grandeur and folly soon come to pass. But what he didn't know that he was also reborn for the sake of a girl who he soon came to love.

The girl of the present, Serenity, was always alone. Even if she had her brother, a friend and comrade of the Pharaoh, she had always felt emptiness in her heart, where loneliness had created a hole that was yet to be filled. She felt out of place in the world, where no one knew who she was or what her purpose was; they didn't know, and neither did she. Time had left her in the passages of friendship and camaraderie – she was the vessel of loneliness amongst others who enjoyed the company of friends. And then she found him, one who was also out of place in the blue, fragile marble called Earth.

Yes, they found each other through the tapestry called fate, whilst he was searching for who he was; memories that created his identity and that made him a vessel of God. She was a lost songbird who belonged in the present, not the long gone past. He was so new to the world, not one of her past, but he was now a part of her future, a fraction dyed red by his fate and her destiny.
