Would you like to be left with a crazy sister you don't love?
That's how it was for Ivan. He was left with his crazy sister, Natalia. She would cling to his arm. When he asked politely his 5-year-old sister would look up at him with innocent eyes and say 'don't leave me onii-san' and snuggle into his arm. Ivan was a young boy and wanted to play with his friends, such as Arthur, Kiku, Alfred, Toris, Feliciano, Ludwig, Francis, and Wang. But sadly his mother told poor Ivan to stay indoors with his sister.
They weekend grew long as little Natalia griped her brother's salve. Her black bow was missing. And the poor clingy child would not stop crying. Her brother tried everything. He tried pink, blue, green, and purple ribbon. But it stopped the tears for mere seconds before she ripped them out of his hand and shoved down her shirt before she cried again. She cried missing her bow. She wasn't the same small girl with out them. That's when Ivan pulled out a sunflower. He tried to show it to her but she wouldn't look. She pulled her head lower. That's when Ivan pulled her chin up bringing his face closer to hers.
"Look sis! It's a sunflower. It always cheers me up. Doesn't it cheer you up?" He said trying to lighten the mood. The seven year old failed. She kept crying. So he kissed her forehead and whispered, "Please stop crying."
"Brother… Thank you but I just wanted to be closer to you." She smiled through her fake tears. She pulled out a black ribbon and tried into her hair making a bow. She took the sunflower from his frozen body and ran into her room. Ivan stood frozen.
Natalia had taken out the bows that her brother gave her out of her shirt. She sniffed the sweet cloth her brother gave her. She tied the ribbons on to the sunflower and smiled as she laid them down on her small black twin bed. A smile came across her face as she held the tied up sunflower.
"I promise to love you forever and ever, Onii-sama…" She said cuddling with the sunflower. She grew tired and fell asleep with her Ivan doll and the sunflower. Her Lolita nightwear snuggled her small body as she dreamed of the day when her brother could see her as a women, and he would love her the same way she did.
