Aha! I write a lot of poems like this (Cassian to Jizabel) but if I can affect just one person in a sad way, 'cause I'm cruel like that, I've done my job. I was crying while writing this. Not that I'm emotionally swayed by my own works often.

One too many lies,

To cover up the past,

Too many vows of silence,

To think that this could last.

You et me see you broken,

And unfolded in my arms,

Though you didn't trust me,

To keep you safe from harm.

Too many times you shattered,

The truth too real to speak

So composed, yet broken

So strong but oh so weak.

I should have never left you,

You can't make it on your own,

Now I know you need me,

When you said you're fine alone.

Only seconds sooner

And you wouldn't disappear

I can watch you linger

To let you know I'm here.

You deserve this freedom,

But not this way to die.

It's too late to say 'I Love You'

Too early to say 'Goodbye'…

Yes, I'm crying again copying this from my nerd-book (ha, get it? Like note book? Nerd-book? I'm clever) to the computer. If you care to read a second time, listen to 'Far Away' by Nickelback.
