AN: So...this is a mistake. But I want to try it so...just tell me if it's terrible and try to help me make it better?
The day dawned grey, which was a bit unordinary. But Harry was still up and going, trying to make sure that everything was done correctly. The small eight year old sighed silently as his family entered the room for breakfast and he was sent to do garden work outside.
That was what his day consisted of. That was how Peter found him. Harry didn't notice that anyone was watching him from behind the shed, determined to get his work done early.
The next two weeks went by similarly. Peter witnessed too much to be okay with just leaving the smaller boy there.
As such, the first night that the Dursley's left and left Harry behind, Peter snuck in with Tinkerbelle and looked around. He huffed when he found the smaller boy curled into a ball in the cupboard.
"Hey." Peter mock-whispered to get his attention.
Emerald eyes snapped to him, wide with fear. He relaxed a bit at seeing someone who wasn't family, but still didn't seem okay.
Peter moved to sit just above the bed and frowned down at the smaller boy. "Why're you in a cupboard?"
Harry shrugged. "It's where I sleep..."
Peter scowled, then huffed. "You don't like it here, do you?"
Harry shook his head sadly.
Peter looked at the door before he grinned. "You can come with me! You could be a Lost Boy!" he exclaimed, eyes brightening. "You could come live with me in Neverland and never grow up!"
Harry hesitated before he agreed.
A few years after Harry went to Neverland, though he didn't grow up, he aged. When his eleventh birthday passed, a letter showed up, confusing all the Lost Boys at breakfast. Rufio stared at Harry as he opened it, knowing it didn't bode well for them.
Harry read through it, then looked up at Peter and Rufio. "It's from a magic school." he said quietly.
"School?" Peter scoffed. The other Lost Boys were murmuring to one another about it as well. "But that means growing up! You can't go, not if it'll make you grow up."
Rufio took the letter and skimmed it. "We could send someone with him..." he pointed out.
Peter's eyes brightened. "Rufio! You go with him!"
Harry blinked as Rufio glowered at Peter. "I...but...he's had a hard time as it is...are you sure you want to put him around grown ups...?"
Rufio looked at Harry, remembering the scared little boy when he first showed up in Neverland, how amazing he was as a fighter after he learned to use a sword, how loyal he was to his fellow Lost Boys. "It's fine, Harry." he said.
As such, the two boys were prepared by the time the first of September happened. All the Lost Boys went to see the two off, knowing how they got when they were alone.
As the train pulled out, Rufio and Harry both stayed silent.
Done. Time limit. Sorry.
