The 1916 Man
A man who knew what he was doing was wrong
He thought at one point or another should he do it
Because he knew the consequences if he choose yes
It was simply one word called DEATH
But hey guess what he didn't give a shit
Sure there's a right and a wrong way of doing things
But he wondered as the plans were in motion would everything turn out like he planned
But he still didn't give a shit
He was going to do what he thought was right
And put his mind and body and soul into it
Even it would cost him his life
Rallying his fellow Irish slaves
In all the counties of Ireland
To convince them to fight the English
And hopefully kick them out for good
All in an afford to teach them what the colors of Green White and Gold really mean
And that man was Michael Collins
And to this day all Irish Men, Women, and Children young old and everything in between
Are grateful for everything that Michael Collins has done for them
Giving the English some sort of the boot
