"Computer!" Zim calls as he enters his house. The school day had dragged on after Zim learned he wouldn't be required to attend for two whole earth weeks. Something about some special day. What a joke. The humans put so much stock in one day they decided would be different then the other three hundred and sixty four in their little year.
"Yes, Zim?"
"WHY in the Tallest's name, is it so cold outside?"
"It's changing from Fall to Winter."
"What is falling? And why is it changing to a winner?"
"Fall, or Autumn is one of earth's four seasons. The other three are Summer, Winter, and Spring. Fall is when the leaves on the trees die, and the weather begins cooling down, the earth begins moving away from it's sun. Winter is when the earth is at the furthest point from the sun, the sun's heat doesn't warm the earth, causing temperatures to drop."
"Why would the planet move away from it's sun? That's ridiculous. RIDICULOUS!"
"You'll just have to deal with it, Zim."
"Eh? You dare speak to your master, ZIM, in such a disrespectful manner? I will have you erased for that!"
"OOH! LOOK MASTER! IT'S SNOWIN'!" Gir screams from the window. Suddenly, his little doggy form can be seen outside dancing like the insane robot that he is.
"Computer! What is this...snow?"
"It is a frozen form of Dihydrogen monoxide."
"Oh okay." Zim says as he walks outside. "Gir! Get back in here! It's too cold for you to be-EEYOW! IT BURNS! WHY DOES IT BURN?"
"It's a frozen form of Dihydrogen monoxide."
"What is this 'Dihydrogen monoxide'?"
"Water."
