As the darkness fades after being painfully bitten by nagini, severus opens his eyes slowly, taking in his surroundings. At first, all he saw was a heavy mist, the silent white deadening his eye sight. Then he stands, finding a bench to raise himself up. 'where... am.. i' he mutters, trying to look around. He then notices that he is naked, yet warm. The fog clears slowly, uncovering a set of robes a few feet away. He painstakingly stumbles across to them and slip them on, the scent of lily's shampoo hitting him, fresh off of the drab black cloth. He inhales deeply, revelling in the smell, only to hear an ever so familiar voice. 'enjoying yourself there severus?' Albus asks, walking over to him in all white .'A-albus... where am i... wait arent you... didn't i...' he mutters, holding his head, the scenery spinning in his confusion. 'sit here severus... take it easy' says albus softly, pointing to the bench behind him. He leans back and sits, groaning softly 'where are we albus?' he asks. ' i was hoping that you could tell me... when i saw harry earlier, he said he thought it was king's cross station', he replied . 'h-harry? What was he doing here? Did he not defeat the dark lord?' he stutters, tears slowly filling his eyes. 'he was here only for a short time severus... just long enough for us to have a little chat ... lily's son is safe severus... you did what you had to do... and now i think it's time for you to move on... the dark lord is dead and gone... in a place that none of us will ever go to'. Severus now slumps on the bench in relief, 'albus... ' , 'now severus.. your train is here... so to speak. There are people waiting on you dear friend... go on... ill see you soon enough'. 'yes headmaster' he mutters as he walks slowly to the train tracks. He steps off and disappears, leaving albus with a wide grin 'i hope he remains happy..' albus thinks to himself as he walks around, becoming lost once more in the fog.
snape opens his eyes once more and finds james, lily, sirius, lupin, tonks and all those that died in the order looking down on him. 'wake up snivillius ... the time for sleep is over' james murmurs, holding out his hand to help him up. 'potter... lily... lupin...sirius' he mutters ,taking james' hand and standing up. He goes to hug lily and is then stopped by a sharp pain to the knee. ''HOW...DARE...YOU...TREAT...MY...SON...LIKE...THAT'' yells lily, emphasizing each word with a kick to the shin or knee. James couldn't help but chuckle as sirius rolls over in laughter and lupin and the others smack themselves on the head in unison and tonks snorts in laughter. 'ok lily thats enough for now... you have till eternity to do that ... let him get re acquainted with the others first and then you can kick his knees in to oblivion' james says softly, wrapping his arms around lily. Snape looks down as james hugs her and turns away, wiping tears of joy from seeing her again. 'finally i get to see her again' he thinks to himself and he turns back 'lily im so-' he starts when he gets another kick. 'no apologies!' she shrieks ' how DARE you treat my son like that?!'.
