ff closed his eyes, letting the bustling and noise permeate his senses. Clutching the coin in his hands, he mumbled a wish. When he was done, he opened his eyes and threw the coin in the well. He and the warblers were at the Westerville Wishing Well for a warbler bonding outing and after this, they were planning to have a nice lunch and catch movie together. Beside him, Blaine was nudging him, trying to get Jeff to tell him what he had just wished for. Jeff simply shook his head ans said he would never tell. At that moment, Jeff looked up and caught the eye of the person standing across the well from him. The boy was wearing a plain white shirt with ripped jeans. He had brown locks and the most mesmerizing eyes Jeff had ever seen. They were a beautiful rich brown that looked like melted chocolate and in the moment their eyes met, Jeff could have sworn he felt his heart skip a beat. The boy held his gaze and Jeff became hyper aware of the hot weather. After what seemed like eternity, the boy turned around as a petite girl walked over to him, breaking their intense gaze. With a final glance back at Jeff, the beautiful boy walked away.

As the boy turned away, Jeff had a sudden burst adrenaline and courage, he strode over to the boy, catching up with him quickly.

"Hey, wait a second." The boy spun around to face him, confusion and curiosity in his brown eyes.

For a moment, Jeff found himself lost in those eyes and he stood there, momentarily forgetting what he was about to say. When he realized he had just been standing there and staring at the boy, he shook himself out of his trance and cleared his throat, putting on his brightest smile.

"Hi! My name's Jeff and um, this is crazy but here's my number, so call me, maybe?" Jeff wrote down his number on a slip of paper as he spoke.

The boy stared at the piece of paper in Jeff's hand and slowly reached for it. When he looked up, he was smiling and blushing slightly. Jeff found it hard to tear his eyes away from the boy.

"Thanks. I'm Nick." With that, the boy turned and walked away.

Two days later, Nick stilled hadn't called. No call, no text, nothing. Jeff never stopped thinking about him though. He simply couldn't get the brunette out of his head. He could feel himself fall for Nick more and more. The way his eyes sparkled, the way his hair fell slightly over his eyes that gave him such an endearing boyish look, the way he smiled when Jeff handed him the slip of paper. Jeff's heart fluttered every time he thought about Nick and the butterflies in his stomach came to life every time his phone rang or buzzed. But it was never Nick. He wasn't even sure if Nick would ever call but he couldn't help but help falling for him more with each passing hour.

Finally, finally, on the fifth day, Nick texted. As Jeff read the text, a wide grin spread across his face and he jumped up excitedly, effectively scaring Blaine who was sitting next to him.

Hey, it's Nick. You gave me your number the other day. At the wishing well?

Yeah I remember.
