Ch 1:
In the darkness of space two robotic cores floated around. It's not that they had a choice: they didnt have anything that could propell them anywhere.
The two cores looked the same; they both where sphere looking and both had one eye to see though. The only difference was their eye color and personality. One core had a blue eye and was somewhat of a moron. The other core was orange and had a strange obsession with space. Luckily for the orange core, he was right where he belonged, but as for the other core, he was longing to be back down on earth.
The blue core was tired of space, and the obsessed-about-space talking robot.
"Space, space, Im in space, It's so beautiful! Space, space..." The orange core kept on rambling. The blue core had learned to ignore the little core but this time he had enough. With one last "SPAAAAACE!" the blue core screamed "ENOUGH!" the other core shut up imediately.
"Thank you, now I can think in peace." The blue eyed core thought hard. He really wanted to get down to Earth, one of the best and only planets he has been to. But he didnt know how to get down to the planet. Some time past and the orange core was talking gibberish about space again.
The blue core was about to give up but then he remembered Her, the one who had put him here in the first place. She was the one with the portal gun, and the one who had defeated GLaDOS when that AI was in charge. He wonded how long it has been since the last time he saw Her pretty face... wait... did he really think that? Clearly it was a misconception. But part of him said no, deep inside he knew that even though the odds of them being a couple where very slim he still loved Her.
The blue core had gained a bond with Her when he was escaping with Her, and the only reason the he had made Her test all those chambers was that he couldnt bear to watch Her go, plus being in control of the facility was pretty nice. Putting GLaDOS in a potato was just a bit extra, a bit of revenge for calling him a moron. That was hilarious to watch.
The blue core did truly want to tell Her sorry that he was bossy and monstrous. But how? So the two cores sat in space for quite some time and eventually the blue core closed his eyes to be in a deep sleep mode to think harder than before on a way back to earth. And as his robotic body floated it slowly found one of the gravitational feilds and quickly gained speed and plummeted to earth.
