Sam whirled in and out of focus, his voice thick and warbled.
"Just give up, Dean."
"No." Dean stubbornly grunted while the world blurred around him.
Despite his determination, the spinning hunter's outstretched arms failed to keep him balanced. The floor rushed up to meet him and he crashed into the coffee table with a heavy thud.
Claire laughed triumphantly. "Ha! Dude, you suck!"
Dean struggled to get up, using the lopsided table as leverage.
"How are you not dizzy?" he forced out through waves of nausea.
"I'm like half your age," she gloated. "Plus, I didn't shovel down four pounds of potatoes. Now, hand it over."
She jabbed an impatient hand at him. It took him several tries before he was able to fork over the twenties.
Claire snatched it, walking away satisfied.
"You honestly thought you'd beat a teenager?"
Dean slowly stood on wobbly legs.
"Shut up," came the weak retort.
His fist flew to his mouth as he fought to keep his meal down.
"Dude, you puke and Jody will kill you."
