Here's another one-shot
"Castiel?" the teacher called out the name that made Candy wince.
He wasn't gone, he couldn't be.
"Absent." the teacher muttered.
After lunch Candy walked out to the courtyard.
Everyone gave her dirty looks.
She used to be popular, but know everyone hates her.
Deborah did this. She took Castiel away from her. Candy loved Castiel, everyone knew it. Amber hated her for it. Nathaniel avoided her because of it.
Her only real friends besides Castiel were Rosa and Lys. Now they even hate her.
Candy stared at her feet.
"Are you ok?" she didn't recognise the voice from the sadness in it.
"Everyone hates me, all I did was tell the truth." Candy said sorrowfully without looking up.
"I know… You're the smart one who found out. I was the idiot who fell for it."
"She told me what happened… I just wanted him to stay… I never got to tell him I love him, and now he's who knows where." she began to sob.
"Well, I think he knows now… He's closer than you think." she looked up to see him.
There was Castiel, the troublesome red head she fell in love with.
"Cas?" she jumped in surprise.
"I heard you talking to Deborah before we left… She said she was sorry but she isn't… I told Peggy what really happened and she's giving you the front page of the paper…"
"Cas… You didn't have to…" she hugged him.
"I'm sorry, Cas…"
I'm sorry too…" he held her now.
"So… you love me?" he smirked.
"Well, Scarlet… I guess you can say I do."
"That makes two of us…" He kissed her.
It was like Deborah never came.
The way it should have been…
The way it will be.
