You were in love.
So much in love.
With whom?
Norway,
the apathetic little bugger from Scandinavia.
Oh yes, there were indeed complications with this unrequited romance with the purple-hued young man - like how he never actually showed any emotions.
(Sometimes you even wondered if he had emotions to begin with.)
You tried your best to display this love to him, however, he never exactly showed an interest.
He was not, necessarily, a tsudere.
Just a stoic little bastard.
So, you thought of a plan harnessed through out the history of time and space.
The Love Letter.
You whipped out a few sheets of blank note-book paper and began to write in your most legible handwriting possible.
'Dear Norge,
I'm sure you know by now of my attempts to express my love, and I couldn't help but notice how you don't respond to any of it. Like, it's not as if you are rejecting me, but you're not accepting me either.
However, I just wanted to say...
That I love you, Norway.
From the bottom of my heart, to the stars and back.
I love you.
I don't actually care if you love me back, I just wanted to let you know.
Sincerely Yours,
[Name].'
You folded the paper up neatly, slipped in into a crisp, white envelope, and licked the seal.
"Hopefully my words react your heart." you muttered to yourself.
A few days later, you received a letter in the mail.
From Norway.
Your heart stopped beating abruptly, from the shock of it all, and started again - beats slightly faltered to a different rhythm.
You broke the glue seal and, with clumsy fingers, unfolded the paper.
The simplest words were written in dark pencil marks,
'I love you too, idiot.'
