"Are you going to the festival?" Brainy asked Cham
"No," Cham answered
"But why?" Brainy questioned "You've never been to any,"
"Because…Will you promise not to tell any secret?" Chameleon boy protested
"Ok, just tell me why," Brainy insisted
"Ok, your about to hear my story," Cham explained
Long ago, before I was born Durla was raided by Manyanas. They came whenever we had a festival or just a small party. They were taking everything we had, our homes, our food our hospitals and even our lives. As soon as I was born the Durlans risked their own lives to save mine. I was the president's son. The Manyanas heard all about me and tried to kidnap me. They managed to but just for a small time until my shape shifting abilities grew. My eyes turned green instead of blue and I didn't cry. The pain was too much I couldn't. The Manyanas fled to the safety of Earth and tried to live ordinary lives. The Manyana chief believed that I would come and haunt them from what they did to Durla. Instead they raided everyone else's festivals. If I'm there they will stay and take me again. Before a new life starts they will disappear without a trace and burn themselves
to crust. I only see the death in my future part. The end to all bad guys and I'll be the one who destroyed them. I don't know why but I know today is the day it will happen.
Brainy's face was gawping.
"So you killed them all?" Brainy gulped
"Yes and that's why I'm not going to go to the festival or I'll kill them," Cham sighed
"But you won't… you won't touch the death line," Brainy comforted
"I know, it's not me who kills them. It's the beast. I ended up swallowing some of the beast's blood when I was younger and now it roams in me," Cham admitted looking down at his skinny stomach
"I think Phantom girl might be able to get that beast out," Brainy said putting a hand on Cham's shoulder
"If she does, it's a pinch of magic," Cham snorted
