This is my first FFX-2 story. It may be a little...off, since I've never actually played FFX-2, but I know the basic characters - thanks to other people fanfictions and Wikipedia (which is a god send may I add) so just tell me if it's all mucked up or wrong or whatever.

The pairings are Aurikku and Rippal.

Disclaimer: I don't own FFX-2 or FFX or any characters.

Rikku had always liked scars.
Something about them screamed danger and as most knew, where danger went, adventure followed. Or maybe Adventure led...
Anyway. Anyone who knew her would openly describe her as an adreniline junkie, never more alive than when the whip of adrenaline was going through her vain. As her father always said: 'Tyhkan and Ytjahdina are Rikku's middle names.'
It wasn't always said with pride either.

Plus, even without the danger and adventure, she still liked scars.
Because they were hot.
Which made her choice in men seem obvious.

Auron. Auron, Auron, Auron, Auron.
So gruff and hard on the outside, but soft and sweet on the inside.
Well, maybe not soft and sweet, but he cared, even though he didn't show it.
And those hands...
Rikku shivered just thinking about them.
But what attracted her most was his scar.
It was thick, a soft fleshy pink against the hard, sun damaged lines of his face, running from above his eyebrow right down his face, skipping his neck but continuing onto his well muscled chest.
He always found it amusing that Rikku was so obsessed with it as they lay in bed together, her thin fingers trailing up and down it, her eyes entranced.
He once asked if it was a morbid fasination she had. She had just chuckled and told him: 'No. Scars are just hot.' inbetween pressing kisses onto said scar.

And Rikku couldn't help but notice after that conversation, when he was injured, he always stopped Yuna before her was completely healed. Just enough to leave a scar.

Gippal was another matter.
His scar was no where near a big, infact it looked rather pityful next to Aurons. Only an inch and a half long, small enough to be covered by an eyepatch but big enough to be noticed if he didn't wear it.
His eye was open, unlike Auron's which was sealed shut but healed scar tissue (something equally hot, if only because it's got the word scar in it) but his once viberant green eye was now pale and milky.
Even if it wasn't as impressive as Auron's it was made up for due to the fact that she had gotten it for her.
No, he didn't go out and say 'Hey, you, yeh the big fiend with the razor sharp claws, I'm tryna impress a girl who likes scars so can you give me one? Right over the eye? Ok, thanks!', but he had saved her when she was only 12. It wasn't a fiend though, despite what he told people to impress them. In fact, it wasn't even her fault. He had been working on some Machina - she couldn't even remember what it was - and had called her into his bedroom-come-work shop to see it. When he turned it on, it had began spluttering and sparking and then BOOM! One big explosion. Gippal had thrown himself infront of her and a piece of metal had sliced his eye.
It was a little known fact that any time her and Gippal were intimate, she made him remove his eyepatch.

Yuna and Lulu could see her attraction to both males. Well, maybe Gippal but not Auron.
They didn't see the beauty, the danger, the adventure, the sheer...hotness the scars had.
So Yuna could stick to the Pretty Boys.
And Lulu could stick to the Jocks.
But Rikku...
Rikku always maintained that scars were hot.
