"I hate her," Toph mumbled. "She's taller than me, prettier, older, and she sees with her eyeballs instead of her stupid feet! Ugh!" Toph threw herself onto the ground. "Why couldn't she just stay in the inescapable prison?"

`"Who are you talking about? The warrior girl? Sokka's girlfriend?"

Toph had been too angry to hear Zuko creep up behind her. "Go away," she rumbled.

Zuko crossed his arms. "Why do you hate her?"

"If you were paying attention, you would know that already."

"I get it now," Zuko mused. "You like Sokka, don't you?"

Toph groaned. "That's an understatement." She rolled onto her back and spread out like a child making a snow angel.

"You like him a lot," Zuko guessed.

"Understatement."

"You love him."

Toph sighed. "Try again."

"You want to grow up, marry him, and have little Water Tribe babies with him."

She sighed again. "I hate kids."

The prince stepped closer and crouched on the ground beside her. "Fine, then. No kids."

The earthbender groaned, blushed, and flipped onto her stomach.

Zuko reached out and patted her back. "You could tell him," he suggested.

Toph refused to turn toward him, but Zuko could hear the low rumble of her voice. "I'd rather throw his girlfriend off a cliff."
