This is for the challenge 'Chat-up line Challenge'.
Should I do it? Charlie thought to himself as he stared at the girl sitting across the room from him. I think I'm gonna do it. Getting up from his seat, Charlie walked the rest of the distance between him and Julie and took a seat next to her.
"Hey, are you a Bogart? 'Cause I have a fear of hot girls." He blurted once he got situated.
"What?" Julie said as she tried to stifle a laugh.
"Sorry, I-I didn't mean to say that." He stuttered as he tried to pull himself together, a slight blush creeping up onto his cheeks. This being Charlie's first time asking a girl out, he had no idea what he was doing. "Will you go out with me?" He added abruptly.
"What?" Julie asked once again.
"I'm sorry, you don't have to go out with me if you don't want to." Charlie stuttered as he stood up.
"Wait!" She called as she followed him, "I never said I wouldn't. It just took me by surprise. I want to go out with you."
"Really?" He asked as the excitement started to show on his face.
"Yeah, of course. I've been wanting to for a while."
"I have to." Charlie muttered as he leaned down and kissed Julie ever so slightly. Happily, Julie kissed him back, letting it linger when they both pulled away.
So this didn't turn out the way I thought it would but I actually kinda like it despite the fact that it's short. It's not my best but I still think it's really cute(:
