Ha. Just an article I wrote for english class. My friends and family got a kick out of it.

A Chat With Nick Bottom

Tina Bopper Staff

— This week I had the great pleasure to sit down and chat with local actor, Nick Bottom, who has recently landed the lead in the upcoming film Pyramus and Thisbe.

You're career seems to be heading in a good direction. Tell me, how did you discover you're talent for acting? Well I've always been a gifted performer, and I knew from a young age that acting was what I wanted to peruse.

Oh. So did you have any formal training? No, mostly just community theater.

How did you score the role of Pyramus in your upcoming film? Well I auditioned, of course.

And how did that go? I think it went quite well. I thought that I maybe could have spoken with more emotion. For example I could have said " If I were fair, Thisbe, I were only thine." with more pension.

And so when were you informed that you got the part? They called me back within the next few days. After I auditioned for them again, I got a call 30 minutes later telling me I got the part.

Peter Quince is the director. How is it working with him? I think he's an outspending director. He really knows how to make a scene believable. It's a great honor to be working with him.

Tell us about your character, Pyramus. He's a young man, who is inflatuated with Thisbe, a young maiden. He is so much in love with this girl that he is willing to do anything for her. He is quite brave and romantic in my opinion.

Well Nick, it's been great talking with you. Good luck with your career. Thank you, my pleasure.

Hope you enjoyed my little article :) Please review.
