Hey there ! I thought I'd do another Flight 29 Down One Shot
Disclaimer: Don't own:)
Melissa sat cross legged on her bed, staring out the window. The blue sky that stretched on for miles and miles...The pearly white clouds that floated lazily.
She tore her eyes away from the beautiful sight, and looked down at her Sunday 'To Do List.'
There was a check beside the following items:
- Laundry
- Clean my room
- Bio
- Dishes
- Cook for Mickie
- Write second draft of essay
- Write CH. 3 of 'On the Island'
Yeah, On the Island. It was the story she was writing about those 28 days. The days that had ended a month and a half ago.
Her eyes scanned the list desparatedly, thinking Please, let there be something else...Something else...Something Else...
But no, everything was done for the day. There was nothing left to do.
She sighed angrily and fell back on her bed.
"Now what am I supposed to do!?" She asked out loud.
She slowly slipped into a daze, and was only brought back by a sudden vibration by her head.
She grabbed her phone and checked the display.
Sighing, she flipped it open.
"Hey Nathan."
"Hey! What are you doing?"
"Nothing...You?"
"I was just emailing Jackson. He says he misses you in Florida."
Melissa didn't respond. If he missed her, why not tell her himself?
"Yeah, and he keeps going on about the beaches..."
"Mhm..."
"Mel, you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Hey, I know you miss him."
Melissa shrugged, then remembering Nathan couldn't see, said "Yeah, okay."
"Atleast you spent some time together before he left."
"Oh yeah, those two days were thrilling." Melissa said dully.
"Oh come on Mel-"
"Oh I have to go. Someones at the door." Melissa said and hung up before Nathan could reply.
She rolled off her bed and went downstairs.
Opening the door, she gasped.
"Hey Mel."
Melissa stared. There was no way he was here. No way. She was dreaming again...Right?
"Mel?"
"Jackson! Hey! What are you doing here?!" She asked grinning.
"Moved back." He grinned back. "You busy?"
Melissa shook her head.
"Great. Cause I know a great place and I'm starving. You in?"
Melissa nodded.
"Great. Let's go."
Melissa grinned and followed.
Hey, when there's nothing left to do, what else is she supposed to do?
Please review. One shot.
