Four creatures stand together on the final platform, for they have reached the ultimate goal. Years of hard work have paid off well. The game is complete. It is now their job to open the doors to a new universe.
The gateway leads to a completely new world with new beasts, those who do not believe themselves to be so, who have unpredictably potential powers to ravage the worlds around them.
The Abyss will finally have a connection to the new human world, a collection of Chains binding each world to each other so that one can no longer stand by itself. These Chains create balance by bringing out the best in their legal contractors and ridding the world of ill omen.
The standing four creators will become more than the Chains themselves. They will become powerfully dark entities only in the hands of the highest of four noble families. They are passed down generations into the worthiest of hands.
And they will eventually come into the care of each in a group of four very capable hosts. They are meant to bring out a final sense of peace in the fragile world of theirs.
Together, and knowing this, four black-winged kin open the world of their dreams.
The prophecy goes as stated, and four individuals finally come of age to inherit these powerful beasts with wings of noir. They work with their Chains to keep the balance, with both the human world and the Abyss intact. The heirs become older and become more acquainted with the abilities thrust upon them. They trust themselves with such power that they take it upon themselves to eradicate the world of its eternal struggle altogether.
Together, equipped with their black winged Chains, four youths come together and prepare to play a game of the gods.
There you have it, my first story for both Pandora Hearts and Homestuck. Please review, I'd really like feedback. I still need to figure out the direction this story will go, though I have the important plot points down already. I'm excited :3 In regards to my Hetalia/Avengers crossover, erm, I kinda lost inspiration and it wasn't really planned very well in hindsight. I've decided to focus more on this story for the time being, and if I ever feel compelled to continue that story, I suppose I'll do so.
This fic will probably be more active on AO3 to be perfectly honest, under the same username and story title. It's just more likely that I will update earlier there, because I lurk there more often now and I'm trying something new. Curse this website and its stupid little 4-character-in-description limit.
