John never felt so alive. He can feel the other man next to him. He can feel the heath. He can hear the breath. He can feel the soft skin on his own.
One hand on his chest. Sherlocks hand. Sherlocks beautyfull balck curls touching Johns cheek.
He felt asleep one hour ago. Maybe two. John doesn´t care about that. Time stops every time, Sherlock lies next to him.
John can feel him slightly moving. He takes Sherlocks hand on his chest and kisses the fingertips.
Sherlocks eyes appears over Johns head. His lips, his cheekbones. His face surrounded by the dark curls, John loves so much. He comes closer and closer till his lips touches Johns nose. Just a soft kiss.
"Good morning, sweetheart." he whispers.
John pulls himself up. He can´t stay without kissing this beautyfull man. Their lips meeting each other. Once, twice... Sherlock pushes John softly back on the pillow, covering his whole face with soft kisses.
Johns fingers are already deep in Sherlocks hair. He answers with kisses as well. He pulls the taller man closer to him. John can feel Sherlocks heart beating. His fast, hot breath on his face.
He turns around till he lies on top of Sherlock.
Then he stops kissing the other man. The soldier pulls himself up again, his ellbows on Sherlocks chest, his fingers still playing with the dark curls. Sherlocks hands are both lying on Johns back. He holds the breath.
They are looking each other deep in the eyes.
And then four little words are leaving Johns lips. Four simple words with a big meaning.
"I love you, Sherlock" he whispers in this moments of peace.
Sherlock smiles. "I know." he answers.
John has to smile too.
"Of course you do." he says and starts kissing the dedective again.
