Edward woke up one dreary, grey, rainy morning dreading what the day had in store. He sighed, wishing that he knew where Al had gone.
Two days ago, the two of them had fought and he had ended it saying, "Alphonse, you are nothing but a stupid burden to me that just needs babying every moment of the day! I wish you weren't my brother and I wish you would just disappear!" and so Alphonse Elric had run out the door, and left.
Ed sighed as he sat down, remembering the coarse words and regretting ever letting them leave his head. As he was reaching across the table for an apple, there came a knock at the door. With a jolt, he got up, forgetting for a moment that he was only in his boxers, and opened the door. There, framed by the gloom, black hair dripping and in his eyes, stood Colonel Roy Mustang. Ed frowned dismally. He wasn't on the best terms with the Colonel.
"Good morning Fullmetal," said Mustang in his casual business voice. "I have some information you may find interesting. Information about your brother."
"You mean you can tell me where Al is?" Ed blurted out as Mustang came into the room, closing the door behind him.
"Yes. But for a price," Replied Mustang, an evil grin forming on his handsome face, his eyes glinting malevolently in the gloom.
Too excited to understand what he meant, Ed said, "Any price, any at all. Name it and I'll pay it, just tell me where Al is!"
"I'm not sure if it's a price you'll be willing to pay," said Mustang, suddenly serious, "its quite high."
"Dammit Roy, just tell me!" Ed yelled as loudly as he could, tears welling in his eyes.
"Your body," said Mustang coolly.
"What?" cried Ed incredulously.
"You heard me. Your body for your brother's whereabouts. Equivalent exchange."
"No way! I'll find Al myself! Get out!"
"Suit yourself." Mustang shrugged and headed to the door, his hand on the knob when,
"Wait," he turned and was shocked to see Ed was blushing, "Take it," said Edward nervously, afraid that he might change his mind, "just, go easy on me, its my first time."
Roy smiled at the blushing teenager. He knew he'd win. He'd know from the instant he had walked in and saw Ed wearing just his boxers. And if he hadn't won well, they said it was only rape if you didn't yell surprise first.
