Xanatos has watched the encounter between his archenemy, Goliath, and his pawn, Talon aka Derek Maza, Eliza's younger brother. He has turned them against each other by having the latter think that the former was responsible for sabotaging the process of being cured of his mutation. This worked perfectly in his plan to raise an army of his own. Unfortunately, those people like Talon, are still thinking clearly like humans; therefore, Xanatos has to manipulate them into thinking that he has the cure for their mutations. They have no idea that he is only using them to do his bidding. As of now, he has seen the aftermath of the encounter between Goliath and Talon and that is the latter triumphs over the former. Not only that, but he's planning to kill him with Dr. Sevarius, the mad scientist behind the mutation process. This brings shock to Xanatos.
"Oh no..." he puts his right hand to his face, a sign of feeling worried. He may have manipulated Talon into doing what he wants, but killing his archenemy, he has gone too far. Out of worry, he runs off put on his armor and heads off to Cyberbiotics underground research facility. He also brings his Steel Clan to accompany him.
"Don't worry, Anton. I'll save you. Yes, even you, too, Goliath."
