ALEX'S P.O.V
"Sonny! Baby!" I giggled at my stupidness. "Man, Alex, you can be so . . . . " She hesitated, searching for a word.
"Weird? Utterly, and hopelessly impossible?" I suggested.
"Yeah, I recon that might work!" She chuckled, before I realised she was only in a t-shirt, and it was the middle of winter.
"Oh, my god! You must be freezing! I mean I know you're not exactly Einstein, but what were you thinking ?" I gasped at her.
"Uhhmm . . . . That Alex will be waiting for me? . . . She flashed the smile that she only uses when She needs something from me.
"alright, fine. But, get your arse in here before you get you get hypothermia."
" 'Kay. You're the boss, mom." She slurred.
"uhhh . . . . . Okkkk . . . Sonny, Have you been drinking?"
"What? Pfft. No. W-why?" She chattered. Somehow, her behavior was familiar to me. But from where?
"Anyhoo, come on." I stepped aside, waiting for her to come in.
"Woah , mom! Our house looks just like Alex's! "She slurred just before she stumbled, and fell onto me.
"Jeeze, Sonny, maybe you should sit down." I exclaimed in a worried tone.
"Yeah, that sounds good."
Suddenly I realised it. My eyes widened in shock as I figured out why she was acting so strangely.
"OH MY GOD! Sonny just stay there!" I exclaimed as I sprinted upstairs to find my mom.
"Mom? Mom! Crap, mom where are you!"
"Hey, hey, calm down Alex, what is it?"
"Okay,-shirtonandnowIthinkshe'sgothypothermia!"I rushed out.
"Okay, sweetie, I did not catch one word of that, so calm down and tell me again. "My mom said calmly.
"Sonny just got here and I think she's got hypothermia!"
"Oh, Crap." my mom hardly ever curses.
"well then, uhh, go get your blanket and go try and keep her awake pronto!"
I didn't waste any time in sprinting to my room and dragging off my duvet, and running as fast as I could down stairs carrying a quilt. Typically, though, I still fell over.
"And be carefull!
I shot back up quickly, and tumbled into the living room where sonny was now sitting on the couch with her eyes closed.
"Oh, shit." I cursed. I tossed the blanket onto her before slapping her cheek lightly until her eyes flew open.
"what?" She exclaimed sounding VERY pissed off.
I breathed a sigh of relief. "God, Sonny, you scared me half to death."
"really. "She said in the most sarcastic tone that I had ever heard her use.
"Sonny, you have hypothermia. So you can't go to sleep!" I exclaimed just as she was starting to shut her eyes.
"sonny . . . SONNY! You can't go to sleep!"
"fine." I heard her utter softly.
"But only for you Lex."
"Thank-you."
