[airel pan of a grungy little motel, zoom in on the one lit window- Mamoru is sitting inside on the bed talking on an ancient rotary-dial phone]

[the laughter of a child is heard over the phone- he wipes tears from his eyes]

~A little voice comes on the phone

[cut to Usagi and Chibi-Usa standing in a nice living room- Usagi hands her daughter the phone]

[Chibi-Usa is outside playing on a swing hung from an old oak tree- Mamoru is visible beside her as a sort of 'wind being' watching over his little girl]

[she's moved to a blanket spread out in the grass and is having a tea party with some dolls and teddy bears- Mamoru is sitting beside her- a ghost image- playing along]

[Chibi-Usa kneeling beside her bed wearing pink PJs and saying her prayers- a ghost image of Mamoru is right beside her]

~She got back on the phone

[Split screen of Usagi and Mamoru talking on the phone]

[Ghost image of Usage appears sitting beside Mamoru on the bed- she leans up against him, wrapping both arms around his waist]
