* Hi Pandoium here :D. So.. I have a bunch of random one shots on my computer so I thought whats better than them taking up space on my computer ? Well posting them here on . Most of them are just half story lines that I was just trying to jolt down on the mist of a brainstorm but I think hey make pretty decent stand alone pieces so. :D
Read & Enjoy.
Her body was sore as she reached for her bra which had been discarded on the floor. There was a small smile on the young girl's lips as brought the fabric close to her chest. She hadn't expected to lose her virginity that day let alone to the man who plagued her dreams. It was just like her dreams.
Almost.
The silence made Suyin nervous and uncomfortable. She continued to collect her garments from the floor before she finally let her eyes fall on the still form of the airbender. He was laid facing the bare wall of his bedroom. A position he'd taken almost immediately after he'd freed himself from her. He had covered most of his body with the blanket at the end of his bed but the girl could still see how tense his whole body was.
"Tenzin." She spoke softly as she once again gained her voice. For a moment he didn't respond almost as if he hadn't heard her at all but slowly the older man rolled himself to face her, his eyes shut. For comfort she cradles her clothing close to her chest just as she moved to sit next to him on his large bed.
"I'm sorry Suyin. Lin will never forgive me."
He shattered her heart with his words. Her chest hurt and her eyes burned with the brink of tears. He didn't explain why he was apologizing but she knew. She could hear it in his voice.
The regret.
The disgust.
It hurt. It hurt in a way she never thought she could hurt. All of it was a mistake and she felt so foolish. She wanted to cry. She wanted to scream but she wouldn't let him see how weak she was, he could never know how she truly felt.
Her feet touched the cold floor softly and with her back to him she slowly redressed. She focused on a point on the wall as if it held the mysteries of life itself, but it was all she could do to keep from crying. When she was fully dressed she turned back to face the airbender. His expression was still the same regretful and sad. It made her angry.
"I can clean these for you." She said emotionlessly as she pointed to the small blotch of red that stared at her from where she was just lying. The airbenders eyes widen with realization as he dug his eyes deep into hands and shaking his head.
"I can managed. I think you should go Suyin. I believe I have already done enough damage."
Suyin nodded as she made her way towards the door. As her fingers wrapped around the cool metal the girl halted letting herself once again face the airbender.
"You love my sister?" Suyin asked in a pained voice.
There was silence for a long time before she finally got an answer.
"Yes. I do Suyin."
It hurt like she knew it would but she forced down her pain and turned the knob.
"She never has to know."
And Lin never did.
