Hi everyone! I can't believe I'm writing for this fandom again but these characters and this amazing series all need more love so enjoy!

Naasir does not often take to people, humans, angels or vampires quickly but Dmitri couldn't help but notice that he'd taken to Venom shockingly fast. Perhaps it was because they both had animal natures? (Albeit, very different animals).

The little vampire had only been with them for a few years now, Raphael trusted him implicitly and that was good enough for the rest of them –mostly- but liking him?

They were still working on that.

Well, yes, they all liked him but Naasir had been away for the vast majority of those years and only ever met Venom once before.

Now...

The two were 'training' while Dmitri observed silently from the doorway, he was sure they knew he was there but they were both so caught up in each other that they paid him no mind.

Their training had probably originally been actual sparring but had devolved to a game of tag with Naasir trying to catch the younger vampire and Venom is trying to stay out of his grasp.

They are both laughing, usually Naasir was, while not what Dmitri would call a serious person, a man of few words and while Venom was shockingly quick with his snarky little comments they were nothing like the real, full-blown laughter constantly escaping him in this stolen moment of play.

Venom, backed up against a wall, feinted to the right, then the left. Naasir shadowed his movements but didn't lunge forward, just keeping him there.

Venom surprised the tiger-like vampire by not even trying to get around him, when Naasir danced to the left again Venom lunged forward and, placing a hand on Naasir's right shoulder, flipped himself over the older male and took off down the training hall.

Naasir swore and sprinted after him, laughing all the while.

It was a good move, Dmitri acknowledged, and Venom was actually the faster of the pair, but he was a sprinter, not an endurance runner, Naasir could keep that speed up for hours while Venom, he knew, would eventually tire, and then Naasir would have him.

As Dmitri predicted, eventually Venom slowed, and unable to turn fast enough, was tackled, laughing, to the ground.

"I win," said Naasir, his grin and silver eyes blazing, not many would have indulged him this way, in this little game of cat and mouse, and he was happy that Venom seemed to be having as much fun playing as he did.

"This time," Venom said, laughing as he shut his eyes, his breath coming in ragged gasps. Naasir rolled off of him but stayed on the floor beside him as they both rested from the physical activity.

Usually Venom would have his fingernails ripped out before confessing something personal to him but, high off adrenaline and happiness, a far more potent drug, he simply stated, "I'm really glad I met you. I've never had a big brother to mess around with before."

Venom's eyes were shut so only Dmitri witnessed the effect those words had on Naasir, a spot in the silver-eyed vampires life and in his heart Dmitri –and possibly Naasir himself- hadn't even known was empty, had just been filled.

But all Naasir said as he shut his eyes again was, "I'm really glad I met you too."

Leaning against the doorframe, Dmitri smiled, it looked like they were keeping the snake-eyed vampire after all.

The end! Hope you enjoyed guys, bye!
